DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY GROUP
The Digital Photography group is open to all members. Our next meeting will be on February 23rd February at Sele Farm Community Centre, starting at 2.00 pm. The cost is £5 – card payment preferred. Tea and biscuits provided.

The world of photography obviously uses cameras to record whatever you have seen that spikes your interest. However sometimes, quite often, what it records does not seem to reflect what you think you saw.
This is because the way your brain interprets what your eye are seeing is very complex and the internal pictures are highly processed composites.
One of the great delights of digital photography now is the ease with which you can use your computer to create a picture much closer to what you think you saw.
Photoshop was created about 35 years ago and it has grown in capability over that time. There are now many other programs that do similar things.
We are going to begin to delve into the world of ‘post processing’ using some of your pictures.
So email me a picture that you would like to change to reflect what you thought you saw, preferably in Raw format, and we can play with it to illustrate what can be done.
